Hello!  Welcome to design by Autumn!

Art and design have always been a part of my life. From a young age, I was making a new project or coloring. My biggest inspirations are my mom, Andy Warhol, and Claude Monet. For me, designing is both a future career and a skill. I have always loved art, and I learned the skills to be a designer. Through this, I have improved my design skills and learned new ways to create art. I want to find a career in graphic design where I can show my creative skills and knowledge about design. Learning a new program is something that is challenging for me. I have to practice more to get comfortable using it, and that takes time. I like it when I’m able to understand how to do something the first time.

 

As a designer, I want to make things clear, not confusing, practical, and aesthetically pleasing. The world needs to have designers. Without us, the world would be bland and confusing. Designers make creative solutions. I think the world would be less organized, complicated, and not as colorful. Designers do more than make pretty pictures. They play an essential role in signage design and helping people find their way, along with keeping the world a place for color and expression. I love what I went to college for, and I am proud of myself for coming this far in my graphic design career. I will always go back to the simplicity of coloring in a coloring book, but I have learned the techniques to take that basic skill so much farther.
